The internet is a great place for opportunistic entrepreneurs to gain notoriety and promote their brand. There are models all over the place willing to represent clothing lines, accessory shops, fragrances, shoes, lingerie, pet clothes – you get the idea. It’s the perfect startup, and with some work, it doesn’t take long to start earning cash and gaining followers. I used a specific set of steps to get myself established in the social media setting, and I’ll share them with you so that your business can thrive with no issues.
Define Your Style
Before you start posting, you might want to think about what you want to put out there. What do you want your defining style to be? If you start with a niche, you will gain a loyal audience that constantly wants to engage with you, and they’ll come to trust your opinions. What audience are you wishing to reach? Once you answer these questions, you’re well on your way to influencing.
Pick a Design for Your Feed
Your followers may not notice individual posts scattered across their feed, but on your page, they’ll see the random haphazard of photos you’ve posted. Pick an organizational style for your posts that make your page look cohesive and consistent. Potential new followers can scroll through your page and see exactly what to expect from you, and choose whether to follow or not. If your flow is good, those follow will become more and more frequent.
Create Quality Material
You can have a niche and layout planned out, but your social media following will go nowhere if you constantly post grainy or boring images. Make sure the posts are bright and high quality. Photos should have good lighting and be clear, no blurred or dim pictures that could deter users from clicking on you. Make sure the captions for these posts are creative and engaging as well – a picture is worth a thousand words, but captions let the audience know that you’re not just posting for no reason. Post with a purpose, and don’t forget those #hashtags at the end of captions.
It’s disappointing to find an Instagram account with great content, a great design, and a niche that interests you only to find that the most recent post was two months ago. Posting consistently, whether it be several times a day or on specific days of the week, is a big factor in gaining and maintaining followers. When users see you constantly posting, they know to look out for you at certain times or on certain days. If you’re not posting consistently, you literally can get lost in the shuffle of other users and your follower count will go nowhere.
These were just the beginning steps I took to become an influencer, but there are shortcuts as well. For instance, you can get instant followers by purchasing Instagram followers and likes. Doing this ensures that you get the following you desire with minimal effort, taking you one step closer to becoming the Instagram influencer I know you can be.
